One of the standout features of the Mobile ID is the control it offers users over their data. Unlike handing over a physical card that displays all personal information (including address and exact date of birth), the app allows sharing only the data necessary for a specific transaction.

For instance, to verify age when purchasing restricted products, the app will only confirm the user is over 21 without revealing their address. Furthermore, verification is completely contactless; the user never needs to hand their phone to another person, as validation is done by scanning a QR code.

Aceptación en Aeropuertos y TSA / TSA and Airport Acceptance

El DMV ha trabajado en conjunto con la Administración de Seguridad del Transporte (TSA).
